It wasn't Saban that almost killed Urban and made him quit

It was actually Coach McElwain. Coach Mac's offense took it to UF in 2009 and IMO is the real reason Urbs decided to take "family time" at ESPN the following year. You may disagree but it seems to me that this is actually the case.
Mac is clearly smarter than your average bear and cleared a path so that he could restore order at UF.
to Coach Mac for having a vision/plan and meeting his goal of getting to UF.
Now back to the regularly scheduled LSU bitch fest and Bama pissing matches.

McElwain was painfully conservative at times. He almost lost us the Tenn game and lost us 2 games in 2010, including the Iron Bowl.

So painful that it caused your father to be killed by you?

I mean there are plenty of LSU/Bama bitch session threads to pick from. Surely you can find one. They are awesome.

Other than causing the death of his father he's alright by me.

Mac had an outstanding game plan in the BCSNC against LSU with the short quick passes early on against one of the GOAT defenses.
