If the Daboll hire as OC works out.
"Let's go, we need to get Brian Daboll."

You give AIDS to every single thread you post in. You literally add nothing to this board - not even occasional humor - and I have no idea how you still have posting privileges. I award you LSU's score against Bama, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Who the hell is Brian Debawl?

The Patriots' TE coach. And was rumored to be their next OC if Josh McDaniels took a HC job.

Think he might go back to New England when Josh McDaniels gets another head coaching job next year?

Definitely sounds like a potential downside, assuming all the reports that he is the OC in waiting are correct.

Possibly.
Daboll has worked for Saban as a GA. They're familiar with one another.

This guy asks who as if he had any idea who Aranda or Canada were before he saw their names mentioned in connection with LSU.

No, it couldn't.

Hell, I'd never heard of any of the asst coaches hired in the conference this year. I just don't pay much attention to coordinators.

I mean when is the last time this guy dealt with a run first quarterback? I would not be too excited about this hire if I was Bama.

I think we're intrigued and cautiously optimistic. We won a national championship and put up a ton of points with Doug Nussmeier, who has been an abject failure everywhere else he's been. I think we'll be okay either way.
