I'd be willing to bet UGA gets left out if they lose in the SECG. If they win, both will get in.

Lots of football to be played but if they both win out and make it to atlanta unscathed, and thats a huge if, then either both make it in or Bama makes but i would suspect both would make it in under that scenario.

That was pretty much obvious from game 1. Auburn had a brief inkling of a chance, LSU is too unpredictable, and the people saying Kentucky has a chance are more delusional than ND fans.

So you’re saying Bama doesn’t need to win the SEC but UGA does, considering they both go into the championship game with 0 losses. Does that seem fair to you?

He's probably right...Bama would get in on name alone.
All depends on what happens with TCU,Clemson and PSU the rest of the season.Sleeper team IMO is Ohis State

Who knows?

I sure as shite did not Clemson losing to Syracuse.

Ohio State losing to Iowa State.

I think Saban and Smart are both excellent at keeping their players focused, but one below average performance can screw everything up.

Probably not but they have been at the top so long it will probably carry them a little further than georgia. Most likely though, i think both would and should get in but one would be 1 and ome would be 4. No way the set up both to ne in the final.

It all depends on how the B1G plays out. If Ohio State runs the table and eeks out a win over Penn State in a close game, there will be a big push to put both of them in over 2 SEC teams. Southern bias and Bama fatigue will work heavily against the SEC. We need Ohio State tagged with another loss but with their shite schedule, Penn State is our best hope. If they run the table, then it’s Bama, UGA, Penn State and the best team left from Clemson, TCU, USC, Washington. That’s my best guess.

ETA: frick an 8 team playoff. Win your games. The regular season should matter. With 8 teams, some bullshite 2 loss team like Ohio State or Notre Dame gets in.

Wait, what? Ohio State lost to the team that lost to Iowa State. I bet Ohio State stays under the radar and gets into the playoffs somehow. Remember they got in without winning their conference. I don't see two teams from the SEC getting in unless every conference champ and the runner-ups from the conferences have two losses.

I think they beat Penn State as well. I live in State College, but am not a Penn State fan. The team does not really look that great, and when Ohio State wins, that will be the enough to get the committee back on the Ohio State bandwagon, despite the earlier shellacking they took from Oklahoma.

I think people will do almost anything to get Ohio State in, tbh.

My point was that while it looks like the path for GA and UA is set, strange things happen.

UGA is going to get boat raced in the SECCG if they make it that far. It honestly wouldn't shock me if they Georgia'd their season and lost to Florida then Auburn

8 is too many. There are never more than 4-5 teams that deserve it and number 5 just needs to suck it up buttercup and win shite.
