road games against Ole Miss and Vandy following that start.....This week is huge for Auburn....they are currently 3.5 point underdogs at State....not a flame, but if Auburn has a losing record this year, will the Chiz be either let go or on a serious hot seat? Let's face it....he had cam for a year...but other than that....not so good...and yeah, I know Auburn fans will come in flaming...but this is reality...if they don't beat State...they are going to start 1-4 with two SEC road games following that.

I will go ahead and say it's highly unlikely that Auburn starts out 1-4. 2-3 at the worst.

I think it's been discussed from every possible angle on this board how Chizik can lose his job. It's beyond overkill now.

2-3 at worst...so you are basically saying they beat Miss State this week? And saying at worst, you are insinuating they beat State and either LSU or Arkansas.

I've been predicting a 1-4 start for Auburn all along. I think this is Mullen's year to beat an SEC team not named Ole Miss and he has his best chance against Auburn.

I hadn't looked at the schedule...this week is huge for Auburn. They have a losing season, imo, if they don't win this week.

agreed...they certainly don't want to be beaten by little ole Ms State. What a sham?

But, I really believe it is bigger for State. To get over the winning hump in the west, this is a must win.......should be a great game......but, if State gets ahead, which qt does Au give up?
After the Au loss, maybe the Au players will trip over them selves trying to get to the dressing room as fast as they can......

Well, since Mullen has never beaten an SEC West team not named Ole Miss, I'm not willing to give State the win here, but I would think State has a very good chance. As for beating either LSU or Arkansas....I can't comment on Arkansas...but they aren't beating LSU.....I would not think they would beat arkansas either, to be honest...time will tell....I personally think they lose this week, they are 1-4 to start...and then who knows having to go to back to back sec road games.

You would think so wouldn't you...............but then one would think that you yourself would actually go to class and quit playing on the computer, so that maybe you could gain a little intelligence.................but now that isn't the case either now is it.......so, I guess we are both capable of surprising people.

Nothing great about Arky outside Wilson and Davis...Hamilton and Gragg are decent, NOTHING on D.

The best thing about Arkansas was their playcalling, aka Bobby Petrino.

only 4 sure wins on their schedule. I say 5-7, or 6-6 if they lose to MSU, if not 7-5.
