Agree, those dudes up front and the LB corps led by Ragland are just so physically dominating! Rotating out 5*'s for more 5*'s.

"I don't think there is an offense in the country that can succeed against that defense." - Spears

Respect.

We have a GREAT O Line and they pushed them around like rag dolls.

Have to tip the hat.

It's amazing in a little over a year Paul has turned him into a flavor of the week dick rider too.

Yea, I mean we all realize Alabama's d-line is just a one week wonder.

I thought LSU would at least get some push on the O-Line. Complete game changer when you can play 47 different guys along the front seven and not lose a step.

Left no doubt as to who was the better team that night and it all started with their D-line.

It's like Ole Miss doesn't even exist.

Will be interesting to see the Dak Attack this weekend.

You're an idiot. He and McFarland are both excellent commentators who are thoughtful and articulate. They rep LSU very well.

Dude that was seven weeks ago. Teams can improve.

Ya know, like how Auburn isn't a complete, raging dumpster fire anymore?

Ole miss didn't move the ball!!!!!!!! They took over 4 drives inside the bama 30 and had the biggest fluke play of the year and an illegal play for 80 yards. So they won the game but they didn't drive the ball ONE series of that game

We lost to Ole Miss. It counts. It should count. We deserved to lose.

However, the defense gave up 433 yards total offense, 66 on the helmet play and 73 on the man 5 yards down field play. Outside of that they had 294 yards on 63 plays (4.7 a play). Still probably our worst game, but anyone who watched knows that the reason for all the scoring was all sorts of strange events and turnovers by the offense/special teams deep in our own territory.

First let's stop the name calling you backwoods inbred Alabama piece of trailerpark trash.

Second Booger is pretty good but Spears is just like Finebaum, he sucks up to whoever wins and they are the best thing since slice bread.

I hope that sticks

It would be a shame for such a monster of a d-line unit to not have a cool nickname. Like the purple people eaters

That defense is scary good.

I think the only chance any team has against Alabama is turnovers. Special teams seems like something of a weak link as well, but those are pretty minor chinks in some massive armor.

It's probably Saban's best outside of 09 to 11. With the exception of the OM aberration, they've been pretty consistent in keeping opponents below 20.

We can definitely get stuck in the mud offensively. The biggest key Saturday on offense was we stayed ahead of the chains and stopped killing ourselves with drive killing penalties. And, while our kick returns have been awful all season, the rest of special teams has been pretty good. Kicking and Punting were bad for the first 3-4 games, but JK Scott is back to booming missiles and while I still don't trust him Griffith has finally looked like the guy we signed as the #1 kicker in the country.

But, like I said, I will wait to see if the O-line continues to do what they did Saturday in terms of consistency and no penalties before I get too excited.

Think we can agree DODs daddy should have shot him up his mamas poop shoot. Would have saved the state crazy check money.
Not to mention all the bandwidth he waste.

It is what it is. That defense beat us like a drum Saturday night. Anybody that thinks this is on Miles is retarded. There was nothing any coach that ever lived could have done to stop what happened. You don't get a line like that very often in college ball because how many schools have ever put up recruiting classes like they have for as long as they have.

Now I guess you could put that on Miles, but the Alabama v LSU war is an all year, every year war for recruits and nobody does it better than Saban. He's going to have it his way for as long as he wants to coach there. We'll probably get one here and there but the Saban dynasty is going to last till he's gone and there's not a damn thing anyone can do about it.
