The west is a juggernaut and outside of three teams, the east is shite. Would help everyone.

Things change. Butch will start spanking Bama once Saban retires this season

I say can em, top two go to Atlanta. There's just too many teams and we dont get to see any of y'all in the West with any frequency. A&M won't set foot in Lexington for the first time until 2025 under the current scheduling. I say keep two or three permanent opponents and rotate the rest.

so basically, excluding nearly half the division.
Makes sense. You idiot.

Move Missouri to the West, Auburn to the East. No more permanent rivals. Be done with it.

So, no more Iron Bowl? That's... I'll just go with "unlikely".

no... but it is still time for the other 13 coaches to pull their meat out of their taco and sign on for a 9 game conference schedule

Yet the West has won 1 more Championship since a CCG was implemented.....that includes the West winning the last 6.......
Seems like you are a horrible troll. I'd say you could do better, but YOU probably can't.

The East had the two best teams in the conference for most of the 90s. They also had the three worst teams. So it was very easy for the two best teams to get thru their schedules unscathed.
Since then, barring Urban's time at UF, it's been the West and the seven dwarves.

You should be glad then.
Win your division and it's a free ticket to the NCG.

Do away with them. Keep traditional rivalries and such, but do away with the divisions. I for one would like to see Florida play Auburn more than once every 7-8 years.

Look at Vanderbilt and Florida this year and LSU from the west just clinched the regular season conference title last night. The divisions are fine the way they are.

Agreed. It would take 3 seasons to get through the conference instead of 6. It only makes sense.

The problem isn't that the west is some mythical superpower and that the east is some weak thing, it is the fact that schools can go 10 and 12 years without playing
That is dumb and needs to be changed. 2 or 4 games against a "conference" team every 20 or 24 years!!!!!!!!! STUPID!!

Do away with the divisions once that is deregulated or go to pod format and play each other more often.
