But golly, your criteria is somewhat misguided. LSU has 3 players with at least 3.5 TFLs and has 2 players with at least 2.5 sacks (Key 6.5, Neal 2.5).

A&M has 4 players with at least 3.5 tackles for a loss and only has one player with at least 2.5 sacks (Garrett 3.0).

A&M's defense is miles ahead of LSU's. They aren't even comparable - A&M has played more offensive talent, and held them to better results.

Key may be the only decent player on LSU's d-line right now. A&M has 7 in rotation, all of whom are making big plays.

Enjoy this most moralist of moral victories. Key has a few more sacks than the best defensive player in college player. It might be the only thing you celebrate all year.
