Is your program more famous for offense or defense?

Some programs are more famous for their prowess on one side of the ball. For example, Bama is all about defense and ball control, and has been since probably the 70s. Florida, while they've had tough defenses, is more known for high scoring offenses (historically).

Mizzou is historically more offensive minded overall. Most of our best teams were offense first

What would you say about your program?

We are known for our offense. Can't say that's a good thing either.

ETA: our defense is definitely what keeps us afloat. And we are DBU so there's that too.

You forgot the 3rd option:

1. Offense
2. Defense
3. Racial protesting and safe spaces

Yes we are known for offense, but in reality we have had some really good defenses. And we have sucked on offense for the better part of a decade. Hard to believe. Make Offense Great Again! My new call sign. MOGA!

Offense with Herschel, Moreno, Gurley, Chubb, Stafford, David Greene, Aaron Murray, A.J. Green, etc. but we did go through a Junkyard Dawgs era with a feisty defense.

MSU has definitely always been known for its defense. The stretch in the late 90's and early 2000's solidified that. As for recently, we've been known to be a pretty good offensive team, but that's due large in part to fantastic Dan and his QB development.

Back in the 80's, we were known for both offense and defense. Offense we ran the run and shoot during the Joe Morrison era with Todd ellis.

Mostly defense throughout history though

How odd, given that Missouri is famous for getting really defensive about everything.
