Is winning the East enough?

Given how a subpar UF team and 2 Mizzou teams are the last 3 SEC East champions, is winning the East enough for UT to be satisfied with Butch's performance?

As shitty as they have been the last 10 years I think it would be more than enough.

wow.. the Butch Jones haters are really Briled up..

Not really a Jones hater but I'm waiting for him to finally put up or shut up.
The way UT fans talk about him and this team he needs to walk on water this year.
Winning the east isn't exactly something to hang your hat on lately so will that be enough or does he have to win the SECCG?

We haven't won the division since 2007. Of course winning the East is good enough this year. Butch has completely rebuilt the program from a 5-7 disaster, to you making shitty threads on tRant and asking if winning the division/making it to Atlanta is going to be good enough to cut it this year.
I think that speaks for itself.

The SEC East has been the worst division out of the power 5 conferences. Man they are dog shite.

You have to have an extremely good football team to win the West
The East?
The East?

IDK, Mizzou finished top 5 2013. Ran through any west opponent they had in 2013 and 2014.
Mizzou would have beat any West team in 2013 besides Auburn and Alabama. That Auburn/Mizzou game was close until a few huge runs by Auburn. James Franklin helped Auburn a ton by throwing that pick inside the 10 right to a Auburn defender, or it could have went down to the end. But frick facts right?

That does not mean you win the SEC Championship
The last 6 or 7 years maybe

Great point, Butch should be fired if he doesn't win the West this year.

Stupid question.
Tennessee hasn't been to Atlanta since 2007. Of course winning the East would be a hell of an accomplishment for them.

Winning the east is the minimum expectation, just like going 8-4 was last year. 10-2 and an east title won't piss most people off but won't fully satisfy most people either.

That was a great game, but Auburn did to yall what they did to every team they played that year and ran yall the frick over.
