Is Tuberville the only head coach with a winning record against Saban (>5)

Tuberville has a 4-3 record all-time against Saban. Are there any other head coaches that have played at least 5 games against Saban and have a winning record?

How sad are Auburn fans knowing their record has plummeted against Saban since Tuberville was fired?

Not only that, but auburn has only beaten LSU twice since his departure.

winning a national championship, playing for another, and winning twice as many seccgs as Tuberville has just been awful

Meh, the record is what it is but don't ignore the fact, and it is a fact, tuberville at auburn coincided with a time when Bama couldn't sign many players. auburn was basically the only team in the state. Tubs won some big games but a good chunk of those great players would have been at Bama and Cadillac Williams is one of them. So is ben obomanu. Both openly stated probation was the reason they didn't go to Bama. Again, tubs is pretty good but even he knew his days of domination were over.

You saw how quick he shagged arse when Bama got back to full strength.

Lloyd Carr was 4-1 against him at Michigan, right?

Alabama didn't know they were going to be on probation when Cadillac chose Auburn. Franny had just taken the job.

Without Saban, Bama likely wouldn't be better than UGA with Richt right now. Bama had a ton of issues , places to recover and competitionin recruiting to be what you think is "full strength". Look at former powers like Miami who can't pick up the pieces, why would Alabama be different?

Don't get me wrong, Bama likely would have been a 9-10 win team with 11+ win seasons but consistent NC contenders this quickly is unrealistic without Saban

Probably. But Bama is also one of the only blue bloods in the South, where most of the talent is at. There are many top coaches that have always found the Bama job appealing. It all depends on who we hire. But we were 12-0 in his second year. That doesn't happen if you only have Vandy caliber players.

But we made the best hire anyone's made in decades. So everything is pure speculation.

Auburn only beat LSU in 2010 and in 2014 since Tommy Tuberville left.

The only thing Freeze will get in 3 months is another nice letter from the NCAA

I remember one of those victories fondly. Can still picture Cam dragging PP7 into the endzone during his Heisman moment.

This is so stupid I can't even put into words how stupid it is. Alabama started winning titles in the 20s and has sustained that, with the exception of Ears Whitworth, for 90 fricking years. Miami was an absolute joke until 1983. Miami had a damn good run but Alabama is and always will be head and shoulders above Miami. So stop typing and go eat a shitty sandwich at mama goldbergs

Three times. 2006, 2010, 2014. They lose every time in Tiger Stadium and win every other time in Jordan-Hare.

ETA: Oh, did you mean since Tuberville's departure? I thought you meant since Saban's departure from LSU. Since Tubs left Auburn, yes, it has been only twice.

Without looking too deeply, I think this is correct. I would also guess that John Cooper at Ohio State had a winning record against him as well.
