Is this the year Vandy BB gets over the Sweet 16 hump?

I'd argue right now they probably have the most complete team in the SEC between consistent guard play and post play. It definitely looks like their best team early in close to a decade. And they lost to a good Jayhawks team by a handful of points.
So is this the year the talent overcomes Stallings history of falling just short?

if it doesn't happen this season it won't.

Luck plays a lot into the draw in the Tournament - who you play, how far from home, etc...
I like their team. They play hard, and they can shoot the ball. I think Stallings is a dickwad as a person, but he is a super coach and recruiter.
Damian Jones is legit!

Pretty much this. This team is more complete and deeper than the under-achieving, senior-laden 2011-12 team that had 3 future NBA players on it.

They'll probably be like 25-7 and then lose to some 13 seed in the first round

they are really good. really liked what i saw from them in maui. dont really have any deep analysis but i will be following them. id say sweet 16 is a pretty realistic expectation for them. anything after that is impossible to predict.

All depends on matchups...though since Jeff Green walked, we should have gotten over the Sweet 16 hump in 2007.
Still get irritated watching this.
