Georgia has the better talent.

Mizzou has the better coach.

Mizzou has won the East two years in a row and 2/3 since they joined.

I give the edge to Mizzou. Will they win SECCG? If they get the right breaks in the game they have a shot.

A1.
Could happen. If UGA goes Herschel Walker era and features the run game with that ridiculous backfield. Also, their defense will have to be really good and passing game doesn't need to be that much better than it was last year. I mean they were pretty much 5 yards away in 2012, so it's possible.

Outside of them, UT will have to go above and beyond, but Auburn did it in 2013, so I won't say it can't happen. The OL must be much better and they can't really afford any major injuries to the starters.

A2.
It's more likely than the last two few years. Right now I'd say Bama despite their problems, but LSU can't be bad at QB forever and maybe this is the year to turn it around. Ole Miss has the defense, WR, and OL, but the pesky problem with the run game and QB is the deciding factor. I see Arkansa's offense improving, but they have a tough schedule (at Tennesse and Bama back to back, at Ole Miss and LSU back to back) and the defense could fall back to mediocre levels this year.

The SEC doesn't seem to have a single great team in either division this year.

A lot of parity across the conference on defense and a lot of mediocre QB's.

Put that together, and I don't think there is one team in the West that is so much better that the east couldn't win the SECCG this year.

I do think the west rep will come from Alabama.

You're a knucklehead. Please explain to me that if Mizzou had the better conference record, but Georgia was ranked higher, how Georgia would represent the East in the CCG?

Try following the actual subject of the thread, bugeater.

He's just saying that we were the better team. Which we were. Y'all just had a better conference record. Not hard to comprehend.

So does that mean we were the better team last year then?

The question is, can Missouri beat the west champion this year? Doubtful, but possible.

Just because you win the East doesn't mean you're the best team in the East. We won the East in 2007 and I don't think we were the best team that year.

No and yes.

LSU beats UGA or Mizzou in 2015 for the SEC title.

The East isn't winning it again until TN and UF return to form. When that game starts dictating the East title again, that's when the East will be back.

Huh?? UGA was strong enough in 12 and would've given Bama a game last year.

I don't think anyone will be as good as the 2012 Uga team.

And having the better conference record means we play in the CCG, that's not hard to comprehend either.

No and no.

There is a big drop off after Auburn and Alabama in the West and another in the East after Mizzou and UGA. The best chance the East has is if UGA win the East.

There is definitely not a BIG dropoff after Alabama and Auburn in the west...imo. All teams in the division are pretty close.

The bottom teams are not good enough to beat most of the other teams and Auburn and Bama. That makes them a long shot to win the West and A&M (hiring Chavis) is the only team that did anything drastically positive for this year. Yeah they may jump up and beat Auburn or Bama but they aren't going to beat enough of the other team's too to win the West.

I don't get some of you guys. Why is it so hard to follow that the winner of the East goes to the CCG? That is afterall, a part of what this thread is about. And pretty please, point me to where I said we were the best team, or even better than Georgia.
