Seems like it could be a conflict of emotions for the die hard Alabama Football/ Kentucky basketball life long fans tomorrow as UK faces the much likable Bama basketball squad tomorrow.

Who cares what sidewalk trash pulls for? Those of us who attended Alabama or Kentucky know where our loyalties lie.

Imagine if football and basketball postseason happened at the same time.

The State of Kentucky is officially closed for the next month. If the Cats win or lose they will all have burned their vacation days, savings, and Motel Six points by April.

I think it's just that Memphis Grizzlies fan on here who somehow roots for UK over UA in basketball even though he's a Bammer that actually went to UA.

I'm pulling for Bama tomorrow, but if they lose I'll have no problem cheering on the Cats Sunday.

I think Bama gives them a game. Regardless who wins I hope the teams in the conference represent in the Ncaa tourney.

No I mean it's basketball. Five minutes of action and 4 hours of free throws and fouls. Woohoo!!!

I don't pull for UK any more than I do other SEC teams in the NCAA tourney. Maybe because they have been so much more successful than the rest of us, it means I have pulled for them more often (nonconference) so it has formed a small affinity.

When it comes to UK/Bama, I am just as much 100% Bama as against any other team, and I'm sure that's true of almost all of us.

The simple fact is that fans of a real blue blood program, even in a different sport, tend to respect what it takes to stay on top. Fans of teams who have never been at the pinnacle in any sport tend to just be haters, so it seems to them that there's some connection between Bama and UK fans.

Only two differences between Alabama football and Kentucky basketball fans

1. One wears red and one wears blue
2. One never attends games and one always attends games

No conflict for me. I'll be rooting for giant meteor just like always, even though it has let me down so many times.
