With Cam gate and nothing happened

With Johnnie don't lose my autograph and nothing going to happen

and Bobby Petrino getting the axe for getting some arse.

Is there a double standard in the SEC where athletes and bigger established programs get away with unethical things while Petrino was fired for something that passes as normal in society?

Why the double standard?

Arky isn't the type of national program that can get away with that stuff and sweep it under the rug. Simple as that

Petrino "got some arse" from one of his employees that he hired, paid for by taxpayer dollars out of the state of Arkansas. Same thing that should have gotten R.C. Slocum fired in 1996 except that she wasn't an employee of the university.

What?

Cam and JFF we're dealing with completely different circumstance than BMFP. Everything was internal with Bobby, the NCAA didn't try to frick with us.

Lulz. Petrino created a job with state funds for his slam piece and then lied repeatedly about it. That ranks up there with the shittiest things anybody has ever done in the SEC

Its a serious double standard, one so severe you should avoid all sec related material, forever.

It's good to see that you know where Arky is in the grand scheme of things.

Arky wasn't on its way to bringing the conference another national title. They didn't have anything to save when Petrinogate happened.

Auburn is Big 6
Johnny Football is the popular player in CFB right now.

Arkansas is Arkansas and will get 0 preferential treatment.

Wasn't it Arkansas decision to get rid of Petrino? I wasn't aware the NCAA forced him to leave.

That is just it, no one made Arkansas make the decision they made other than the AD. Ethics has no place in business and no place in the big money collegiate athletics. I mean this is 2014 and not 1989, everyone realizes it is about the money and you do not do anything that damages this. I could see Arkansas getting crucified for keeping Petrino while other programs like TAMU, LSU and BAMA. It would have been swept under the rug or never made an issue to begin with.

Thank god, I thought something had happened to you. I was worried we wouldn't be able to see your profound views in college athletics.
