The past couple years a$m has had some pretty good recruiting classes and really under achieved. I feel they had a lot of momentum coming into the SEC and somewhat squandered it by being bad at football. Texas and OU have had a major resurgence in the last year with CFP and looking at the current recruiting landscape OU has the top class in the country and Texas is off to a strong start as well with Baylor even off to an amazing start. Has Baylor taken A&Ms place in Texas? It would appear so based on the current tragectory. I'm interested in hearing what aggie posters think about this? Surely after all the big 12 is doomed talk they have to feel somewhat silly after being labeled transferU etc and their recruiting seems to have taken a dive off a cliff. Will the Aggies ever beat LSU in football?

We are the Aggy. The Aggy are we. Your athletic and geographic distinctiveness will be added to our own. Resistance is futile.

LSU and A&M are rivals. I don't care what any of you corn dogs or brown town regulars have to say.

Its just starting. A&M has been unable to recruit offseason for the past 2 years due to stadium construction.

Players can now visit the Aggies during practices in the offseason and see the stadium after construction. Three of Baylors top recruits will be visiting A&M this week. Their top WR commit just visited A&M and decommitted from Baylor the following day.

A&M is hosting its first Friday Night Lights recruiting event at Kyle Field in 2 years this weekend. Over 50 prospects will be in town over the weekend.

A&M will also host its first Maroon and White Spring game in 2 years. Over 20K people are expected and it will be aired on ESPN.

A&M has also pulled in a bunch of transfers, which aren't monitored by recruiting services. Transfers are actually how Baylor and TCU built their programs. Keith Ford (RB) and Priest Willis (DB) are two kids rated by some agencies as 5 stars who will hit the field this year. Trevor Knight (QB) and potentially TD Moton (DT) are two 4-stars who should line up this fall. A&M also has a transfer TE from VT and a couple late unsigned 2016 prospects visiting campus this weekend.

You forgot about the hire of Dave Turner.

Aggies have made three very significant upgrades to the coaching staff.

This looks like the type of stuff diehard vandy fans would cling to every offseason.
