Seems like a lot of Pigs on here have been nipping at the Farmers' heels over the last couple of weeks in particular. The love fest is over.

The SWC was founded by Arkansas, LSU, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, as well as a few other schools in 1914. LSU and Ole Miss dropped out immediately and then formed an early-era SEC rivalry. Arky later joined the SEC and replaced Ole Miss as LSU's rival. Then A&M joined the SEC and replaced Arky as LSU's rival. Now Arky is mad at the Aggies. It all sounds like a bad romance novel.

You're confusing Arkansas with a young and attention starved Lefty08, the two are not the same.

Frankly, I like having both A&M and Missouri in the SEC. Finally releases us from pretending to be more Suuuuthern than we really are.

Arky is my favorite group of fans on here by far. I personally look forward to the game second most in the SEC.

LSU and Mississippi were never in the league. The SWC was founded in 1914.

Look, they attended the SWC's organizational meetings that drafted the conference's charter in 1914, bruh. Being there at the precise moment of birth arguably makes them more SWCish than the schools that joined later. Just admit that LSU drops schools as their prom date one by one when another leaves the SWC for the SEC.
