is the sec with ole miss, miss st, mizzou, tamu, auburn and newcomer LSU starting running the spread with Jennings.

is the sec turning into an outscore your opponent league instead of the stop your opponent league?

I liked the high scoring games this season (tamu vs bama, lsu vs uga, tamu vs aubie, mizzou vs aubie) and not the 9-6 bullshite we saw in 2011..

bring on the stats and tds defense is overrated I want entertainment..

We need to ask ourselves if that's what we want football to be. They need to get rid of that forward passing razzle-dazzle stuff too.

Football is changing as a whole from the NFL down to peewee football. With the new emphasis on player safety and the changes to "how" teams play defense I think the change is inevitable.

Better to be ahead of the curve than behind it.

the SEC has won the past 7 championships with tough Defense. That is what makes us better than other conferences.

Are you capable of making discussion or do you use the dumbass routine at all times? There is a reason why Oregon couldn't beat LSU or Auburn and why Alabama has such a good record the past 5 seasons. LSU ran the table in the SEC with defense in 2011. A&M set records on offense in 2012 and finished 3rd in the SEC West. But you're right other conferences play great defense. It's just yet to be seen in nationally televised games against the elite defensive SEC teams.

And they've yet to win the NC. It's a tossup and the most unsure NC we have been in for over half a decade because auburn's defense is just good, not great.

I get that. Im not knocking the SEC or its pedigree. Things ARE changing though. It has nothing to do with the SEC either. The culture of football from the top down is changing.

I dont like it personally but its what we have moving forward. The changes suck. Offense will rule moving forward.

What is wrong with the spread? Nothing. If you can field a great defense too then all the better. Don't get me wrong I love power football but I also admit the newer wide open offenses are fun to watch. Yeah I know a bunch of y'all are gonna say you can't run a spread and field an elite defense and I call bullshite. Just because it hasn't been done yet dosen't mean it can't be done. And no I am not saying A&M is gonna do it so don't go there. Just stating my opinion
