Heck no... MSU had no business in the playoffs despite the pundits clamoring. It's all about maximizing the profit thus inclusion of the most media markets.

Stanford or Notre Dame would have made more sense if that's what they cared about.

Haha, it's good. I feel the sarcasm on that last post was a little douchey. Apologies.

Would not have mattered, but how did they get the third seed? Bama should have played Oklahoma.

Do LSU fans ever think a team is deserving to be in a big game? Pray tell me who else was more deserving or had shown to be better?

Another typical conspiracy theory. Louisiana been famous for conspiracies ever since JFK.

From the way things played out, it appears that the committee did a pretty good job...#1 is playing #2...right?

MSU got blown out for sure, but they absolutely had a fantastic regular season with arguably the best series of wins of the 4 teams going into the playoff (Oregon, Michigan, OSU, Iowa). They deserved to be there

You're bringing logic into this?

Thus including a team from the huge media market of Alabama, South Carolina, and Oklahoma, instead of Notre Dame or a team from California. (Snicker)
