Is S&C part of Tennessee's 4th quarter problems?

In their three losses they have been out gained 356-141yds and out scored 28-7 in the 4th quarter. I know I've heard conservative play calling is an issue, but curious if Tennessee fans think their strength and conditioning program is an issue as well.

I think you're on to something; Butch doesn't have the stamina to coach 4 quarters.

Not flaming, but it looks like that is a problem when you have repeated 4th quarter collapses.

I think it comes down to their Dline and Oline. Their Oline ran into two of the best Dlines in the nation with the most depth in FL and OU. Then played arky who has probably the best Oline in the nation.

No. Not trying to move the ball at all is what has hurt us the most.

The defense got tired against Oklahoma because we spent most of the second half punting the ball back to Oklahoma.

DL depth is a big issue and our most talented DTs are freshman. On offense it's more conservative play calling, but our oline isn't very good.

Their players are pussies that fold like a broken jack when there's any pressure.

Last week they folded early in the game when they saw we weren't going to quit down 14-0. As soon as we tied it up you could see it in their body language. "Not again"

They look much the same way we did Bielema's first 1.5 years.

I'm not sure about the Arkansas game since I didn't get to watch it, but in the previous two, Butch coached like he was scared of his own players in the 4th. I think it's down to this "youngest team in the country" stat that he so often reminds everyone about when asked about the team. Butch is terrified of letting his players make mistakes, so he coaches them into a corner which inevitably leads to failure. He doesn't have a history of going so conservative (at past stops), so I wonder if we'll see him revert to his normal self when the team matures. For his sake, it better be next year at the latest.

This is not correct.

Is it not? My father who is a Cincy fan was adamant about this fact. Admittedly, I didn't fact check him, so I could be wrong.

I'm gonna disagree and say it's more related to complete and overall suckage
