To ever beat (FBS) playoff teams in back to back seasons?

I'd have to say yes since only one team has been to the playoffs in back to back years.

Yes, but hypothetically, a team could have beaten one playoff team in the 2014 season and a different playoff team in the 2015 season.

It is really remarkable that Ole Miss had never beaten Alabama in consecutive games in its entire history, and then accomplished it against two Alabama teams which both won the SEC and one won the national championship.

I never said that the last 2 years constituted the entirety of history, nor did I imply it. It is still true that the only FBS team in college football history to beat FBS playoff teams in back to back seasons is Ole Miss.
