He was actually Tunsils former FA. I happen to know him.. And (here we go) he's the father of a MSU baseball player.

FBI is the domestic arm of the DHS.
If you ever saw "The Package" with Gene Hackman and Tommy Lee Jones (1989) then understand that Tunsil is the dead guy in the hotel room, and the Russians are in on it.
