- Both .561 (53rd and 54th respectively)
- Both 37 bowl games
- Both 12 consensus All-Americans
- Stadiums hold within 100 people of each other
- Students seem to focus on partying
- Rebels - Red Raiders
- Both mascots have a beard and similar style hat
