SEC folk assumed we are a basketball school. We have had minor success in both sports. The term well-rounded might fit. We are good in football, good in basketball, neither of which have ever been consistent world beaters.

You're the one that can't read, apparently. Saying that Mizzou has never been "consistent" world beaters would imply that Mizzou has, at some time, been a world beater. That is not the case.
