Says the person who started a thread with Bama in the title. Why not just say, "Is Canada the difference for LSU this year?" or "Does the LSU O finally get over the hump against good teams this year with Canada leading the way?".

You only care about LSU and don't keep up with others tho.

Never really had a good game against Alabama. The defense did the work while he was there

Why wouldn't that be the case now?

So, yes, Alabama did bring extra players to the line.

Thanks for providing the evidence.

Those were LF7's carries minus his goal line runs.

For his 16 carries away from the goal line, Bama brought more defenders into the box just 6 times (37.5% of the time).

Why couldn't he get going on the other 62.5% of his carries either?

Bama's Kryptonite.

These five combined for 71% of Bama's losses from 2012 to 2017.

They averaged 65% comp, 413 Total Yards, 3.5 TDs

Elite QB play is pretty much everyone's Kryptonite.

Coming in 2017

Also - take a look at this great block by LF7 last year. Fine technique there.

Once Bama starts losing I believe this will cause the NCAA along with now Ole Miss looking to bring others down with them will put Bama on probation as well with those championships vacated

Sorry Bama hope you had fun on Top

Thank you for re-iterating the point, but I think it's been well established now.

I'm going to guess he either fell or got tackled.

Bama's Kryptonite.

You showed 5 QBs and only one of them finished his college career with a winning record against Bama (Jones from OSU). The rest of that kryptonite was .500 against Bama and all except Watson lost the last time they played Bama.

Unfortunately for those QBs they couldn't do all aspects of the game, but their great play is the #1 reason their teams either won or came close. It's not rocket science. Great QB gives you a great chance to win.

I don't have the #s in front of me, but I'll go out on a limb and say the teams that beat bama won the turnover battle too.

Great QB play & turnovers is the "secret" to winning football. Shh... don't tell anyone!!!

Here's what I was responding to:
quote:

Alabama hasn't really had to put 7 or 8 in the box to stop the run in recent years

When I said this:
quote:

They have against LSU.

I know Alabama fans don't want to admit it, but it happens.

Then you said this:
quote:

No, they haven't.

And THEN you proceeded to prove that Alabama did, in fact, put 7-8 in the box against LSU.

And now you want to say I'm moving the goal posts?

..and this is after one of your own fanmates exposed the obvious above when he, correctly, points out that putting 7 near the line between the tackles is quite normal.

Jesus, sometimes I think the stupidity of Alabama fans is overblown, then I run into one like you.

Just admit you were wrong, and move along to the next thread.

Great quarterbacks like Deshaun Watson, Cam Newton, Johnny Football, are Bama's kryptonite. Good luck finding one of those

Bo Wallace and Swag Kelly were not great quarterbacks but they both lit Bama up big time.
