If they don't hire Herman / Chip Kelly / Jimbo it will surely be looked at like a failure by the fanbase right?

Is the fanbase ok with some years of struggle till they find their guy? Or is the win now attitude too prevalent.

There's no logical reason Herman would turn LSU down

No way. Whoever they hire they will hype to the moon.

Honestly, I think Jimbo is a 9-10 win coach most years in a league with players relative to his.

They are going to go after Jimbo, which I don't think is a step up.

Sure there is. USCw offer him their job and BOOM LSU is turned down.

The most obvious one would be Texas offering him the job

Hilarious.

It just depends on how the new coach does no matter who he is.

I doubt he commits this early, though. Who else enters the fray for a new HC? LSU is in a strong position but you never know.

Meh down cycles happen. Y'all will eventually hire another great head coach, but it will take a failure of a hire and a new competent AD first.

I believe that no matter who LSU hires the team will always finish behind Alabama as long as Coach Saban is in the conference. It is no different with any other team in the conference

2-7 against Ole Miss, Bama and Arkansas in the last 3 years. They could hire my sister and I'd be happy for the change. Man couldn't get the job done.

Not smart. Won a natty as a head coach and OC. I wouldn't trust your opinion on the matter.

They went from top 5 playoff darling to firing their coach in 4 games. Disappointment reached.

Whoever they hire will be the bestest anyway.
