Is LSU on the rise, or decline?

I am going to have to say rise. They will lose Mettception who did not preform very well the past two seasons. He brought LSU to good bowl games, and won alot, but he did not bring LSU as high as they probably wanted. I see him leaving as an improvement for LSU. With a bigger threat as QB, they could battle Auburn and Bama next season for a top spot in the west

A&M and LSU are both recruiting lights out. Both lose their very talented QBs next year.

But of course, the Rant says LSU = incline, A&M = decline.

well they have. besides this year, they have beaten Ole Miss pretty bad 2/3 years. and they still lost that last game.

You'll get the benefit of the doubt if you can reach LSU level and stay there.

They should be fine. Jennings for the short time I have seen him looks as though he will do well. They had some youth at key positions and some underachievers at others. They will continue to recruit well and be a 10-12 game winning program.

I don't know if Les can survive another 3 loss season next year, but if they can shore up the DL middle and the DB's improve they won't see 3 losses in 2014.

he really has not. He has not beaten a super great team. The A&m game he did not win. He was injured. 9-3 is a great season, i would love to be 9-3 but for LSU, and losing to Ole Miss (3 INT), is just unacceptable.

Yeah this has nothing to do with that shite stain of a defense A&M fielded this year. Just imagine what Johnny could have done with an average defense this year.

I guess you could say Ole Miss is always on the rise because they've never really been relevant since Archie left. You can't decline if you've never been at the top to begin with.

exactly. Seriously, a win is successful for Ole Miss. a 7-5 season is good. 9-3 for LSU is a down year

It'll be interesting to see how their offense morphs next year with Jennings. Their D should be improved for sure. I think the West will be an LSU/AU battle next year. C.J. Mosley and A.J. are two huge losses for UA that will probably equate to a couple of losses.
