I for one think the Jimbogate surpasses the Saban to Texas tumors. Real world shite resulted. A fine upstanding HC almost got fired with no plan B. The hook line and sinker analogy doesn't do enough. BTW, are they going to permiban those guys that gave us credible info. Did one request a banishment if he were wrong?

Considering the massive meltdown from the fans, the national media heaping scorn on LSU, and the fact that it looks like Miles is going to be coming back... yes, this was worse then the Saban Saga.

The media really screwed this situation up. They blew it up. Their "sources close to the situation" where probably some kid at a Coke machine on campus. Some of these journalist are a joke.

Joe Schad spun this shite out of control and Joe Alleva is totally incompetent. The LSU fan base is taking the brunt of this which is not even close to being where the blame needs to lie.

We lost to the runts and Arkansas back to back. I'd laugh out loud if it wasn't so pathetic. It should be written in to the contract that if that happens, the coaches are fired.

The LSU AD could have cleared things up the week before the game. If the game wasn't their Super Bowl.

He had no reason to. He was silent as he should have been. Media will always spin words.

Anyone that comes here saying they have a "source" should immediately be banned, unless they are willing to name that source in the event they are wrong.

With that being said this is 100% worse than the Saban/Texas fiasco....other teams will use this to recruit against LSU, because if miles doesn't win at least the SEC next season he's either gone or we go through this all over again.

Even if he wins it all next season half the fanbase will still want him gone because "Saban would have done it better."

A part of me thinks he could mail it in next year. He has to be hurt. Lame ducks usually don't kick butt.

My wish is that miles is offered and accepts the USC position, and gets off a few FUs on the way out the door. That would be justice

Texas fans got shortchanged after Saban Gate just like LSU fans after this.

I'm sure other SEC fans do appreciate Les and his 4th place West finishes.

Maybe L5U is not as good as the fan base think they are.

Most of your fanbase expected Les to be fired before the game. That is a fact.

The problem is that they think they are Bama. Bama has a hard enough time being Bama. No even close to Bama is LSU. Florida yeah, definitely Auburn but not as good as Bama.

I'm thrilled shitless that Less is staying.

LSU would be scary good with a decent coach.
