It has to be near impossible unless a team is graded on a curve ... Can it...Has it happened? Please discuss.

Can't imagine tFlagship thinks that your attempted trolls are up to par.

If those losses are to Kentucky and Arkansas then yes. Strong, good losses are taken into consideration by the committee.

Of course it's possible. It does, however, take a ridiculous season like 2007.

Hm it would definitely be hard to have 2 losses and win the college football playoff. Good question

Especially if you lose the last regular season game.

I don't think people remember how wild the 2007 season was.

Losses by Top 5 schools between week 5 and week 13:

Week 5: #2 USC
Week 6: #1 LSU, #2 California,
Week 7: #2 South Florida
Week 8: None
Week 9: #2 Boston College
Week 10: #1 Ohio State
Week 11: #2 Oregon, #3 Oklahoma
Week 12: #1 LSU, #2 Kansas
Week 13: #1 Missouri, #2 West Virginia

3 different times, including THE LAST TWO CONSECUTIVE WEEKS OF THE SEASON, the #1 and #2 teams lost in the same week.

That West Virginia team lost to a terrible 2 win Pitt team. I think it was fate for LSU.

In all seriousness it would prolly be easier and take less of a crazy season than when LSU won it. LSU needed all teams in the country except for 1 to have 2 or more losses. They got the nod because of their VT win early in the year. Now you only need every team in the country except for 3 to have 2 or more losses and have the better resume.

Ask L5U, they backed into one with two bad losses.

if said team makes the playoffs, yes indeed.

one never knows how the year shakes out nationally; some years lots of teams lose a game or two and a two loss team from the SEC or another conference can still be in the top 4 if they win their conference.

and you know this. unless you are a dummie and not just a troll.
