As a Bama fan I can't say that not winning the championship isn't heart breaking even tho we've been in all the CFPs.

Winning the SEC will always be most important to me... (remember: Bama can get to the CFP without winning the SEC lol)

I know everyone thinks Bama fans are spoiled and don't appreciate these times... nothing could be further from the truth. Bama fans know that this type run won't likely happen again, after Saban leaves, for another 20 years.

Do you believe that Bama is in a Championship or Bust situation to have a great year these days?

Falling short of an SEC title will be a disappointment.

You don't win a national championship, it is a massive failure.

Currently it seems to be playoff or bust. Alabama and Nick Saban not being a top 4 team would be a surprise.

Saban has spoiled us. Anything short of winning the national championship feels like a let down.

It's sad but that's how we've become, can't appreciate the success.

I'd argue that it's just human nature, and that you can appreciate the success while still expecting greatness.

Speak for yourself. Most of us are enjoying the heck out of this run. Last year was disappointing because we came so close and were good enough to win it--but that doesn't take away from yet another SEC Championship and a 14 win season. Now, if we don't win it this year, I will be a little disappointed because I feel like 2018 will be a massive rebuild year on defense--so this is our best chance until 2019 at least I believe.

You knew the answer before hitting submit. We were drug through the mud for 10 straight weeks around here for losing one game. Of course the answer is we have to win them all.

100% Yes. And thats not a bad thing. Bama is riding a monumental high as a program and standards have risen with it. Not winning the SEC and missing the playoffs would be a massive failure in the eyes of fans/media, and will only compound the talk about "decline" if it happens.

Many of the more educated bama fans around here get it. Enjoy it while you have it because eventually (hopefully soon) it will fade away. In the meantime, and while Saban is at the helm, its championship or bust.

The last 10 years have far surpassed any hopes we had and it has been fun. We appreciate all the hard work put in by the players and coaches. We will always hope for more SEC and National Championships but anything more now is gravy. To know you are always in the hunt is all a true fan can ask.
It has been and continues to be an historic ride and it is awesome!

I'm probably in the minority of Bama fans, but I no longer get that upset over a loss. Last loss I really remember getting upset over was the A&M game in 2012. So for me, it's not really Championship or bust, though I'll still cheer for that to happen.

#1 Recruiting every year and the players they TBH I would want a championship every year lol but Bama fans are in a golden time....whenever it ends it'll probably be the greatest run in CFB history

I'm with you. I generally am over a loss the night of. The last one that really ruined my night was LSU 2011.
