Is Harris really the best qb on Lsu's roster?

He seems to show no improvement and doesn't have the feel for the game that you have to have to be a successful quarterback at a high level. I would think someone else would have been given a shot by this point. Is this Les just being stubborn?
(Although Cam Cameron's playbook wouldn't help anyone)

No. The coaches think leaving the best QB on the bench is good for both teams.

Is this your first year watching an LSU game? Our QBs always look terrible.

Jefferson literally regressed from the 2008 peach bowl to the game I don't talk about.

yes all the backups are better, but will gradually get worse with experience and time being coached by les and company.

Harris has demonstrated that he can be the guy to put the team on his back and win a game, and then lose the very next week. He's proven that he's inconsistent. I'd like to see if Etling can start getting some reps and how well he gels with our receivers. If the dude can be consistently decent and does well against Auburn then then he should be the guy going forward. However don't throw Harris away completely. Just give Etling his chance.

Remember when LSU fans were like "Brandon Harris can't be worse than Anthony Jennings. "

To be fair, UF fans have been burned by the same sentiment.

"Driskel can't be worse than Brantley."
"Treon can't be worse than Driskel."

You need someone who is not going to hurt your changes of winning. Harris doesn't seem to (as Kenny Rogers put it) "know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em, know when to walk away and know when to run."

The sad part is that if you're an objective fan who knows LSU football, then you understand that the offense did change. We passed 42% of the time and a lot of them were on 1st down. They were short outs, screen passes, swing routs, etc. I had heard in practice that these are what Etling excels at, but doesn't have the arm for the deep PA long ball that LSU has come accustomed to. Meanwhile Harris has a cannon for an arm. So if we really commit to changing, then Etling needs his chance. We'll see what happens after that if he does get his chance.

It's not the QB. If you can't see that by now you are a fricking idiot. It's coaching. It's always been coaching. It will continue to be coaching until the retarded frick face is gone from LSU.

You're a dumbass (and this includes most LSU fans) if you think "x" QB will be the one who looks different than the rest.

At this point we probably all owe JJ a huge apology.

Unfortunately, LSU groomed Harris from the beginning to be their QB of the future. They made that decision before weighing the alternatives or actually encouraging a competition for QB. So guess what? Harris is soft and has no competitive edge. Unless LSU is leading, they're screwed.

I would say it's Harris's fault but we have seen this from several different QB'S in several different coordinators.

Nothing will change until Les is no longer the coach.

He is actually really good....he just has this recurring sports hernia that occurs on Saturdays.
