Is Georgia's dislike of Spurrier matched by any other combo in the conference?

Any other programs dislike an opposing coach on that level?

I know Arkansas dislikes Gus, but that seems more of a jilted lover thing.

Nope, can't think of any combo more bitter than UGA vs. Spurrier.

Most of us don't have any hate towards the old man

Glad UGA is on your mind though.

Record against Auburn:
Nick Saban: 7-5
Les Miles: 7-3

I don't think most Auburn folks hate Saban. I can respect what the man has accomplished while disiking his team.

Les is amusing. How can anyone hate a guy that made that Columbus Day speech?

We don't dislike Gus. The fans who wanted him were upset with our AD for not getting him. The rest of us wanted to cut ties with the Nutt era even if Gus was a great coach.

And for the record, Gus is a great coach imo.

Saban is a great coach... perhaps the best in the game. And yet Miles has gone toe-to-toe with the guy, including 3 OT contests and 3 other games decided in the final minute.

I wouldn't take Saban back, because Miles makes those Columbus Day speeches, and he rappels down buildings, and he puts the game in its proper place behind raising successful young men, and all the while, manned a Top 5 FBS team for a decade.

And while the results haven't been what we've come to expect in recent years... The storm has been weathered, the tide has turned. The Tigers are coming, and the Hat is settling his debts

I think Spurrier is hilarious. The conference will miss him when he retires.

It's actually more notable for it being the other way around: Spurrier hates UGA with a fiery passion.
