Is everyone 100% sure that Freeze was calling these services for himself?

Generally I'd assume that the guy would be smart enough not to directly line up girls for recruits himself, but I'd also assume he was smart enough not to line up girls for himself on the University phone, so I think that line of thinking is out the window.

Who knows? What we do know is that Freeze isn't the brightest star in the sky.

probably for his wife...

No way he is asked to resign if he was just paying for some on the side. They were 100% for recruits.

From what I gathered last night there are some that think he did for himself and some that think for recruits. I say, why not both?

Maybe he was just shopping rates in different regions to determine his FY 2017 recruiting budget

The thing that really makes me think there is more to this is the "news" out of Oxford that he was actively cheating on his wife.

They were for recruits even though I bet ole Hugh sampled. It just benefits OM and Freeze to say otherwise. A show-cause is at stake for Freeze and a helluva lot of punishment for OM.

I suspect we will never know. A personal revelation cost him millions, likely the opportunity to work again and possibly his marriage. If it became public it was for recruits and some weren't of legal age in the states where it happened he would have an entire mountain of legal issues.

He was ministering to them in a effort to get them to leave their prurient occupation.

Pretty much - he was a rumored having these kind of hookups for years.
This goes way back to 2013/2014.

100% sure that he wasn't calling for himself.
That call was local, not long-distance

Fair enough. Maybe he likes to join in on the fun.

The rumors have been there for a long time, but obviously they couldn't be substantiated. Ole Miss questioned Freeze about inappropriate behavior over the last year, but he denied it and there was no evidence.
Small town shite doesn't "pop" unless it's exposed. Which Nutt's lawyers did. Still at the time Ole Miss didn't know that his transgressions when way back to early in his career.

Are we 100% sure these were female escorts?

Athletic director Ross Bjork said the initial phone call originally was “attributed to a misdial.” But further vetting of Freeze’s phone records disclosed a “pattern of conduct” that led the school administration to confront Freeze this week. Bjork said he and school administrators spoke to Freeze Wednesday night.
“Coach Freeze was very transparent, open, honest and admitted the conduct,” Bjork said, without specifying what that conduct was.
looks like for himself

This, or the "pattern" they found when they started digging had nothing to do with hookers, but was incriminating in the investigation, so they fired him for cause using the hookers on a technicality because they could do that without disclosing what they else they found in the phone records.
Like the southern Baptist version of Capone getting caught for tax evasion.
