Is Derrick Henry More Deserving Than Melvin Gordon Was?

Last year, Melvin Gordon rushed for 601 yards more than Derrick Henry (2587-1986) did on 4 more carries than Henry (343-339). Gordon also had an average of 7.5 yards a carry compared to 5.9 for Henry, while rushing for 6TDs (29-23).

Clearly, Gordon is better statistically across the board than Derrick Henry, so I don't think it's going to be a landslide Heisman victory for Henry. It's interesting to see how much more attention and respect Henry has compared to Gordon.

Big Ten though, and Gordon cannot hold onto the ball.

So you're suggesting the Heisman goes to Gordon this year because of his accomplishments last year?

I don't know? I do know that he is much more deserving than booger is this year. And the Heisman voters agree with me to such a great extent that booger didn't even get an invite.

According to the site listed below, Gordon fumbled the ball once in his college career.

Melvin Gordon was more deserving last year. This is a weak heisman trophy class. I think christian mccaffrey should win this year. He can do everything

The Heisman is a strange award. You compete against guys from different seasons based solely on stats with no context allowed. The voters aren't even allowed to watch the games or consider the competition. I hear the Heisman police are tracking down poor ol' Joe Bellino as we speak. Apparently, his stats are good enough anymore...

He fumbled once before the Heisman trophy was awarded last year. In fact, he and Henry have the exact same amount of lost fumbles in their college careers.

Look Dingus, I understand what you're saying. I was simply being cheeky. Your point is as retarded as you if you think your argument has any merit other than to troll.

I'm using this as an example to show that as deserving as some of you think Henry is, his stats aren't as impressive as other recent RBs who've failed to win the award.
