Is Dan Mullen a QB whisperer?

We know about the QB's he produced at other programs but check this out.
He took over a program that in terrible shape and Chris Relf was on the roster. Relf took Miss State to the Orange bowl.
Dak Prescott was a 2 star recruit nobody wanted. The only other team who offered him was LSU late and they wanted him as a TE.
Nick Fitzgerald another 2 star recruit who played WR in highschool. You read that right, he was a WR. He only played 1 year at QB his senior season because they had nobody else.
He got his first start last year at MSU and while raw, you can see him progressing. It's not like MSU is loaded with 5 star talent around these guys although recruiting had deffinately picked up since the Ole Miss investigation. I mean instate kids that might have gone to OM are choosing MSU for fear of sanctions.
I think Mullen is one of the top QB coaches in the country. What say you?

What blows my mind is:
Imagine coach Mullen with Alabama talent.....let that sink in, can you imagine the dynasty, the comparisons to Bear Bryant. Their wouldnt be a Saban except in his shadows

Fitzgerald is a great runner, but he's below par as passer. So I'll say no.

Mullen only has Dak in the NFL.. His another major QB he coach is playing baseball

That's great. Doesn't change the fact that he was barely 50% in passing against the SEC and BYU... You lost your only WR worth anything in Ross. Fitz wobt have much help. He's more likely to have a drop off than to improve this season.

Relf actually led us to the Gator Bowl. Did kill Michigan 52-14. Still enjoy writing that score out.
Fitz will probably be more of the Relf Coast offense though I think he is a better passer than Relf ever was.
CDM has a way with QB's.

Actually he has coached Alex Smith, Chris Leak, Tim Tebow, Cam Newton as well. Pretty good assortment of QB's there.

54.3 % to be exact and behind a bad OL which will be far better this year plus we have a real RB now, actually two.

Sorant, I'm always impressed when you try to cite MSU bowl destinations. You give yourself away by always being wrong.
