Amari has been a shadow of his former self from last year. Similar to Clowney.

I have a boo-boo.

I need some Vagisil.

Etc, etc.

Nah, Clowney is talented and just doesn't want to play. Cooper is just a one hit wonder sort of like Bama RBs

Sophomore slums seem to be more common than not.

He's got another year to play college. At least.
The only thing separating Clowney and a multi million dollar contract in about 9 months is a terrible injury. That's it.

Cooper has no such promises.

Chalk it up to sophomore jinx. Plus it still is early in the season.

Cooper is hurt, and is still trying to play, with a little bit of a Sophmore Slump. Also, they are hardly comparable. Cooper was an under the radar recruit that we got lucky with.

Clowney was deemed the next Demarcus Ware when he was still in high school.

Coop will be aight.

Cooper will get it together, I'm not worried about him. Thankfully we've got other adequate options

The irony in OP is that this time last season Coooper hadn't really exploded on the scene yet.

IMO OP needs some vagisil or some xanax.

As good as Cooper can be, he is expendable. South Carolina doesn't have another Clowney. It really hurts them that he has been so ineffective this year.

Ummm ... eh .... meh. Not really.

What ails this 4-1 team is not Clowney's ineffectiveness.

Cooper has less than one full season of good games, and you're suggesting he's resorting to the same protect your guaranteed nfl millions tactic that Clowney has?

Yeldon has been great this year when he isnt getting hit almost before he gets the handoff.

I haven't followed UA close to know, but last that kid was tremendous, no doubt. Possible injury not reported (nagging thigh bruise or some such thing)? Are the D's concentrating on him more, taking away opportunity?

Is that what he is suggesting in the OP?

That would explain a lot. Can't really fix it except to stay out. Not considered severe but a skill player with this is really limited.

But its not too early to proclaim Clowney is "the biggest bust in history", he's "given up on the team", he's "a joke that doesn't love the game of football"?
