Bjork said that that's what they had thought but then they uncovered more evidence and confronted him on it and he admitted that it wasn't just a wrong number

He resigned. The press conference said they found a pattern recently after dismissing that first call as a misdial. Calling escort services on the company phone and also being a married christian man....no bueno.

Gotta build some gossipy drama, even if it means stating the obvious

He THEN resigned after a "very open" conversation with Ole Miss.

He gone.

He resigned but he Im sure it was either that or be fired. Ole Miss is in a world of shite right now and this compounded the problem even more.

I meant that as kind of everyone else's reaction to Freeze when he trotted out that line, not trying to direct it at you in particular.

My bad. Poor delivery on my part.

Ole Miss was looking for any reason to get rid of Freeze and not have to pay the buyout.

Convenient reason. If he was Nick Saban he could kill three hookers every night and not be fired.

They must have uncovered some damning info. Ole Miss told Freeze to resign or they would fire him with cause.

Ole Miss didn't want to fire him with cause because Freeze could still attempt to sue down the road for at least a partial buyout. Ole Miss didn't want to drag this out, but they did not offer Freeze anything to go away.

I think Ole Miss has a bombshell of embarrassing information on Hugh. They told him to resign with no compensation, or they would release that info as one of the causes for his termination.

Once is a mistake.
Two is how many people to testify against you for a conviction.
Three or more there is no excuse.
Five times in two years will get you convicted of consorting with whores.
And get a blood test.
