I know he gets a lot of talent, but it seems more often than not his teams play below their talent level.

Is that the reason for all the final 4's and the title?

I would say the ability to bring in massive amounts of talent would be the reason for that.

I have doubts that he would do well with an average roster.

Or maybe loading up on one and domes is just a bad strategy. Not sure.

He took Umass to a final 4. That's the equivalent of taking Missouri to the final 4.

They've looked pretty average for about three weeks, and his team seems to have gotten worse the longer they've been around him. He's solid, but he doesn't seem to be doing a good job with this team.

I couldn't agree more. Hes done a great job since he's been here, but he has done a shitty job with this team. They should be a lot better at this point of the season.

If that is your reasoning, then the same could be said about coach K.

Cal is the Coach Saban of college Basketball. Saban is just fortunate enough to not have been forced into a playoff his entire career.

He should have more than one title at this point.
