Is Bama getting better every week or is the soft part of their schedule the SEC?

Based on the last couple of weeks it looks like a 1 - 2 ACC team and the MWC is a lot stronger than Bama's SEC opponents. I guess Mercer is the next biggest obstacle for the Tide if the rest of the SEC is like Vandy and Ole Miss.

Pretty much their whole schedule is the soft part of their schedule this year.

Same goes for Auburn until November. The SEC sucks this year

They shouldn't have. Georgia Tech outgained Tennessee by over 300 yards. Georgia Tech was the better team that night.

I imagine that the second loss was due in part to Deondre Francois having gone out in the first loss.

But I suppose, for the sake of discussion, we can make believe that FSU wouldn't have been any better if their starting QB hadn't gotten hurt.

Our players were still 'in' at that point. Tennessee is still a talented team but CBJ has lost the players and Coach Scott is a terrible OC that needs to go back to coaching TEs or go somewhere other than the SEC if he wants to learn how to be an OC. That said, we actually threw downfield for more than 6 yards at a time during that game. Scott has inexplicably stopped doing that.

Objectively, both of the title conditions are true.

Alabama's offense in particular is showing in-season progression. Also, they faced their OOC challenge early -- and broke it -- and as it stands currently will face their conference challenge late.

Again watching objectively, what I'm seeing isn't really the offense facing softer opponents as the improvement, but rather the players (including a soph QB) becoming more familiar with routes and timing.
