Is Auburns 1-1 record more impressive than some of these 2-0 records?

Auburn played the defending NChamps and current #3 in the nation within 8 points on the road.

I think the argument could be made that that is more impressive than beating a bunch of white boy Mormons and a DII team.

It's not even an argument that it is just as impressive as beating a couple of HS tier teams

Not just LSU, USCe, State, and Ole Miss as well.

And I'm not arguing that they are better (which they are) just that losing like that at Clemson shows you more than beating HS tier teams and is more impressive

Of course. The haven't lost an SEC game yet and that defense is legit. They will find a way to score points

I'll hand it to Auburn. They need to get their offense straightened out, but their defense looks very, very good. Just a tweek here and there, and they will be fine. I could still see the Iron Bowl decide the West, No disrespect meant to LSU, as they will be in the mix as well.

It's certainly up for debate.

I'd argue that you are (although parenthetically)

I look at Auburn ver much the same way I look at LSU. I'm still not sold on Eitling, but I am not ready to give up on Stidham. Whichever QB gets the job done...their team will be 2nd in the West. Both have very strong defenses. We will see how good lSU is soon enough. But i have no doubt, both teams are extremely solid and with a big break could win the SEC.

We really don't know anything about Auburn yet except that they are not a top 10 type team. Then again most teams haven't been put to that test.

Auburn's defense is great... at committing pass interference.

I would say right now they are just outside the top 10 though. And we do know something about them and that is that their defense is very good. They won't see a dline like that again this year. They got problems on O but Clemsons dline had a hell of a lot to do with that

Auburn's D looks legit, but the offense was undoubtedly bad last night. Credit Clemson all you want, but I expected more, particularly when they had opportunities in the red zone.

I wouldn't say their record is more impressive based simply on who they played.

No. We could have that game. But our coach is a moron who does not know how to develop and field a D1 offense.

I don't understand how you're allowed to be an Alabama fan since you hate LSU more than Auburn
