Is Alabama being the GOAT program even a question now?

I seem to remember many people 'ing and 'ing saying it was Notre Dame, Michigan, USC, Oklahoma, etc. without a doubt.
A few years later.... is there any doubt? All I see are treads about the next game, next year, next 5 years. Alabama being the GOAT program, through 2016, seems to be a conceded point

I don't think anyone questions that Bama is the GOAT program in college football history. There isn't even a close 2nd.

There was a debate about Alabama being the GOAT program before Saban got there.
Now there's no doubt.

Why would Michigan ever be considered? Just because the beat up on white schools doesn't mean they are GOAT.

Unless for some bizarre reason your own personal metrics ranked Heisman trophies won as like the single most important thing in college football, it's pretty much impossible to deny that Alabama is the greatest college football program ever.

Yeah, not sure how michigan is even in the conversation. Theyve had one title in the last 60 or so years

It's easily Alabama, now.
It was Notre Dame until about 25 years ago.

LSU at 9 all time. Boy, from what you read on here you'd think we were as bad as Ole Miss all time.

Bama became the GOAT program the night they destroyed Notre Dame in the BCS National Championship Game. It was a beautiful passing of the torch moment.

Texas is always left off these lists for some weird reason. Did they suck in the 70's and 80's or something? They're seriously an after-thought half the time.
Hey shorthorn, did Texas suck in the 70's 80's and 90's or what?

True. But in a decade it will be ND again. UA is weak brand nationally

Yep. The only SEC team that should ever talk shite to LSU is bama. Everyone else is inferior

Notre Dame is stuck in an endless cycle of shite while Alabama has won enough national titles in the past decade alone to fulfill most teams 120 year quota.
"branding" has nothing to do with the history that is on Alabama's side (also their brand is scrong now)

"Branding" is everything. I live in the south and dont watch UA, excpet when they played ND.
UA will always be little brother to ND, mich, USC.....
I dont care how many titles they win.
