Is a one game suspension enough?

I realize Miles feels the weight of unrealistic expectations on his shoulders with a seat getting ever so warm, but is a one game suspension (against a rent-a-win) enough for the malicious hit we saw from Boutte?

This will have him back in the line up just in time to open SEC play.

If I was a LSU fan I would be embarrassed that Boutte was still in the program, let alone serving a 1 games suspension against a FCS opponent for a cheap shot like that.

No, but I don't think LSU fans should be embarrassed about it, although that adjective gets thrown around a lot on here

Should have got 4 at least, especially the way he taunted them afterwards

I don't want him suspended at all. I want him to dress every game and then watch every second of the season from the bench.

Not sure that forcing him to go out and play in that pathetic offense isn't some kind of punishment in itself.

Why should he get to sit on the bench and point & laugh with the rest of us? Get out there and take your medicine young man.

One game is more than enough. Little surprised a Baylor "fan" would bring up this topic or say something like
quote:

If I was a LSU fan I would be embarrassed that Boutte was still in the program,
If I were a Baylor fan, I'd be too ashamed.

Some teams would give him a 0 game suspension.

We will never know. I would have like to see atleast 2 games. Hard to argue didn't know play was over. Did he think kid was making football move with 1 finger in air?

It's one thing to get your arse kicked. It is a game it happens. As an alum I don't want to see this ever.

2 or 3 is probably about right, but he feels the pressure to try to save his job.

No, it's not enough, and yes, it's embarrassing. The kid should never play a down of football for LSU again.

If he is counting on this kid to save his job he should go ahead and quit

Embarrassing for Miles maybe for buying Boutte's excuse. Why should LSU fans be embarrassed? They had no control of his suspension

My thing is isn't he guaranteed one game per SEC rules since he was ejected in the second half?

Correct.

He disqualified himself from the next game.
