Is 4th and 25 more historically significant than the Play?

Certainly more than Kick6 or Immaculate Reception. Just trying to determine exactly where it stacks up

No one will remember that play in 10 years besides Hogs and Rebels.

Kick6 was for all the marbles.

Hahaha...this guy is counting year 1. We don't acknowledge it. Just like we didn't give tOSU a win in the Sugar Bowl.

It could be a huge play, indirectly.

If Alabama goes on to win the national championship it will be the most pivotal play of the college football season.

College football can be like that, the whole butterfly effect thing, where plays in games in one place can have huge wide ranging effects on all sort of other things.

Alabama fans will remember it. I still remember the Iowa State / Oklahoma State game vividly, and I'm sure LSU fans do too.

I would argue the play actually hurts Bama. Even winning in Atlanta Ole Miss likely had no shot of making the playoffs.

Bama would be a playoff lock without going to Atlanta but now if they somehow lose to UF they would be out of the playoffs

Spoiler role is what Ole Miss embraced with Nutt. Glad Arky can take our place
