TAMU and UGA have the most home grown talent. Not a surprise. Arkansas with only 34% home grown talent is a surprise

But Mississippi produces the third-most NFL players per capita among all US states (fourth if counting Washington, D.C.). This is a state that has produced Walter Payton, Jerry Rice, Brett Favre, Jackie Slater and Steve McNair.

Aaah the ol "per capita" discussion, the reason LSU fans claim Louisiana as a superior hotbed of high school talent than GA. Classic.

So 12 out of the 14 SEC schools have recruits from Georgia. Damn.

Anyone with a brain realizes Georgia has an extraordinary number of prospects due to its large population. It makes Georgia's lack of accomplishment all the more baffling.

Brah you just live in Atlanta.
Don't forget those Hancock County roots.
When are you getting to Oxford? I'll be there tomorrow at 4:00 PM and will be getting hyphy, CT style, for approximately the entire weekend.

Correct, it's common sense. But whenever recruiting debates come up, inevitably there are a handful of LSU posters who claim LA is right there with CA and TX as far as recruiting states simply because of per capita.

Georgia produces almost 200 Div 1A kids a year. You're allowed to sign 25. What is there to lol about?

We sho do love our GA players.
ETA:
I think some people fail to realize ATL(including the burbs) is around 5.5 million people. The state of La had 4.6.
