Listening to JOX on iHeartRadio in the car. Interesting discussion proposing 3 permanent rivals for each team and rotating everyone else. Just radio personalities, not an official proposal. Can't remember them all but included -
Alabama - LSU, Auburn, Tennessee
Auburn - Georgia, Alabama, Florida
LSU - Alabama, Texas A&M, Arkansas
Texas A&M - LSU, Arkansas, Ole Miss
Georgia - Auburn, Florida, South Carolina
And a bunch more
Means you play everyone twice at least every 4 years. Lose some big annual games. Sounds interesting. Thoughts?

I think pods are the way to go but I don't trust Sankey's leadership to get us there

What did he say for UF? Georgia's a given, but we'd have to sacrifice someone between AU, LSU, and UT.

I do not want AU to lose the LSU game.

The only problem with this.......how would you figure out who plays in the SECCG? The Division style we use is the only way to go.

Think UF was - Auburn, Georgia, Tennessee

The pod system/no divisions is clearly the way to schedule conferences in the era of 14+ teams.
It's the best compromise to keep old rivalries intact while also playing enough games against all the league teams to still feel like it's one big league where you really do all know each other.

Don't wanna lose auburn. It's a guaranteed win in TS every other year.

Divisions need to go. Make the East progress.

I remember when we had 12 teams and this was all figured out.

I think everybody will be @ 16 shortly. (Eyes are still on B12 for their disbanding.)

I wouldn't trust Sankey to run a McDonald's.
