Wouldn't have changed the result. I repeat, WOULD NOT HAVE CHANGED THE RESULT.

8 total penalties all game. 6 on Missouri, 2 on Alabama. 3 offside/false starts (1bama2mizzou), 1 illegal motion (bama), 2 late hits(2 mizzou), 1 illegal lineman downfield (mizzou), 1 kick catch interference (mizzou)

0! holding calls total. I'm not sure how that managed to have happened considering Mizzou and Bama's DLines. Shane Ray's ejection was debatable but probably correct. The other late hit call was incorrect. Kick catch interference was suspicious considering the returner was 5 yards away from where the ball landed

The SEC needs to do something about the refs they employ. Would not have changed the result of the game, but it would be nice to have a correctly reffed game.

Your guy made a tackle out of bounds on Amari Cooper. What about that was incorrect?

Funny that you stopped with just those selections.

You left off the most important fact. Mizzou is a shite tier team.

There was no debate at all on the ejection.

He started the tackle on the edge of in-bounds and continuation took it out of bounds.

Even Uncle Verne took a look at the replay and fell silent.

I agree. Those damn push offs that were missed on three long passes by Missouri were BS.

I do not like the ejection part of the rule. Just my opinion.

Ray went full TPOS. Made Mizzou look bad, and Pinkel said as much.

...or maybe Bama is just a more disciplined and better coached team....

There is nothing debatable about it. The whole world saw and your own coach said he agreed with the call and the ejection.

Your guy was drapped all over Cooper 5-yards out of bounds and it drew a flag. Tough shite.

Your guy clearly hit bama's return man and intefered. There is nothing suspicious about it.

You must be trolling or you are the dumbest, most whiny fan outside the LSU fan base.

That's not the way it happened. If he had left his feet while Amari was still attempting to gain yards - then maybe. Amari was stepping out of bounds before your guy attempted to make a tackle - and then had a chance to "stop" the tackle, but instead drug Amari to the ground like 4 yards out of bounds.

He didn't even touch Cooper til he was out of bounds and then he tackled him after holding onto him for 5 yards.

The late hit on Amari Cooper was incorrect in the fact that the tackler made first contact while he was still in bounds. I didn't say the Shane Ray call was incorrect, just that it could be debated. I didn't feel the need to explain false starts/offsides or illegal man downfield, unless you don't understand the rules of football

I would not have thrown that flag. I don't think the player intended to tackle out of bounds, and to me this particularly penalty should be reserved for clear and intentional late hits.

That being said, I do agree with the referees that this was not a continuation of a tackle that started in bounds. After trying to tackle him, falling to the ground, and continuing on well outside the sideline, the Missouri player initiated another attempt to grab the Bama player and bring him down. That was not a continuation. It made the call legit, despite a grey area.

Danielson said it was the right call.
