This game comes down to 1 thing lsus oline vs bamas dline. If lsus oline holds up lsu will win the game if bamas dline did what it did to us last year bama wins.

Well looks like you LSU and AU fans have this thing all figured out. For years and years folks have the perfect plan to beat Alabama, few are able to execute that plan.

I'm looking forward to a really good game, and some damn good food in BR.

Damien Harris is very good, not that impressed by the other two. Wouldn't be surprised if Bo doesn't see another carry outside of garbage time this year.

at the Bo comment. Prepare to be surprised. He has shown good strides in the last two games, and is beginning to look like a Derrick Henry clone.

Harris and Jacob are both really good backs that average over 7 ypc this year.

Emmons is good but hadn't gotten many significant carries, still needs some development.

Meh, you've earned the right to be cocky. But you are beatable. Not saying LSU will do it but it can happen. And your team this year has more holes than previous years.

I really like Harris and Jacobs, those are two quick tough runners. They will be the best RBs we have faced all year.

Aranda & lane are the best in the biz matching wits. Very intriguing. Etling is smart and tougher than he looks. Not afraid to take hits.. Very poised but not as talented as hurts obviously. We've shut down every running qb and that's bamas strength. Also very interesting. Your defense is super fast so I don't see perimeter success and running up the middle will be a tall task as well. Only chance Lsu has to get LF goin imo is getting the TE's goin throwing the ball to keep your outstanding LBers honest. If there is a weakness with your backers it will have to be coverage situations. Imo they should try to force them to cover instead of selling out on the run and rushing the passer. Idk if we win. I think if we avoid TO's and throw well we are capable. Can't wait. It's always physical and Lsu will be your toughest test yet. I will say if u have t seen that auburn D u should. They also are very good. Iron bowl won't be easy either. Glad we rebounded so it's the game that everyone gets excited about like always.

Sorry but that's just wishful thinking. Every aspect of LSUs team will be under duress - especially the LOS. Alabama will own the LOS. Alabama has superior talent, coaches, and schemes. Luck is LSU's only chance. If both teams play their best game Alabama wins by two touchdowns. Luck can always throw it's fickle fate your way - if it does LSU can win. Without luck LSU can't win.

I think we have the speed to stop hurts from scrambling. A few solid hits by Beckwith and AdaMs may make him a Lil shy

All good points.

I'd add that if we lose the turnover battle, we most likely lose the game. And vice versa

Its still a tough match up for LSU. DL for bama is sic. We will have to connect on a few deep balls and hope we can contain your QB. We need about 4 things to go right---QB time, receivers making big plays, occasional big run and contain QB.

Bama just needs DL to play good and QB to make a few plays. You should be heavy favorites but at least we have a shot. Oh, and unlike Florida we like to play football--we ain't sceered!

Each time I watch a BAMA game, which has only been a half here and there this year, its just mind blowing how smothering their front 7 is.

I don't know what LSU has to do to soften that up some, but that is the only way I see us winning. I don't think we are lining up in the I and trying to out muscle you like we've done in the past.

I think we may see Etling in the gun more with multiple receiver sets trying to hit some quick throws to allow the receivers to attempt to make some plays. Problem is, BAMA tackles well so those could only be plays of 2-5 yards.

I do like how we've been using the FB and TE's more on different types of routes, so maybe a lot more of that could help along with some Guice & Fournette sets hitting them out of the backfield.

IMO! This will be the best Bama Defense we ever played against. Bama Looks hungry. If we can hold up the D-line this game will be Very interesting. Hurts is a game changer. LSU needs to stop him from running wild. If any of these can be done. LSU will win this game.. And I'm saying IF!!

I think Jacobs may have gotten hurt against aTm. He simply disappeared after a certain point.

He is an extremely talented kid. His vision is almost as good as Harris', he runs extremely hard, has great agility, and is our fastest RB by a fair amount. I've been highly impressed by him so far this season. I have no idea how he didn't get noticed till 2 weeks before signing day.

And he breaks tackles left and right. He is a tough guy to get down ok the first attempt. I think he's our best RB. If he were to get 20 carries a game , I think he'd be a HUGE game changer. Harris has come along great since the beginning of the season as well. Just like Jacobs tackle breaking ability and smash mouth style a bit more.
