For football. The "Bear" is obviously #1 and that isn't going to change.

Who is #2? Robert Neyland? Nick Saban? Steve Spurrier? John Vaught?

IMO, while I LOVED watching Steve Spurrier coach at Florida, he only one one national title. So I would put Steve in the top 5, but not #2.

IMO, I would have to put Nick Saban at #2. He has a better career win percentage in SEC play than Urban Meyer.

Robert Neyland eats Bear Bryants and shits Nick Sabans.

And you, Nebraska fan, you can stop sucking Bama's dick now. It's fricking gay, KNOCK IT OFF.

Bear Bryant never beat Neyland and Neyland sat out coaching during the war. I would say the top spot is open, or are you just trolling?

Why are you so pissy for?

If you want to put the TN coach above Saban, then explain the reason. I am open for debate.

I thought he tied 1 but never won one.

What game did he beat Neyland? What was the score?

It's difficult to say this when you consider Bryant was at the beginning of his coaching career when he started playing Neyland's teams - while Neyland was in his prime. Also consider the fact that Bryant was coaching Kentucky when they coached against each other. Kentucky.

1970s Bear Bryant beats 1940s-50s Robert Neyland IMO.

Neyland is number 2

Saban will end up being number 3

Fun fact: Neyland never lost to Bear Bryant.

Same UK that was ranked in the Top 20 year after year with Bryant as coach?
Same UK that finished 1st or 2nd in the SEC with Bryant as coach?
Same UK that went to the Orange Bowl in 1949?
Same UK that went to the Sugar Bowl in 1950?
Same UK that went to the Cotton Bowl in 1951?

Dude, the Bryant years @ UK were the heyday of UK football.

Imagine what UK athletics would be like had y'all not run off Bryant and were able to keep him and Rupp

Eh, I'm unconvinced. It is easy to coach more talented teams and the recruiting rules were set up to favor programs like Bama.

That, plus Bama was gifted some of those championships.

I'll duck now. Have fun.

No disagreement here. Neyland was the man.
