On this Monday following the firing of Les Miles as the head coach at LSU, I thought it fitting to put some numbers up. His total regular season win percentage versus the SEC west during his 12 years was 67.7% with a record of 42 wins and 20 losses. Here are Les Miles regular season records against the rest of the SEC west.

Vs Alabama: 5-6 (45.5%)
With all but one of these losses being super-recent, it's apparent to anyone with eyes that Saban has had Miles number since the mulligan game.

Vs Arkansas: 6-5 (54.5%)
Always a close game with Les only having a 1 win advantage.

Vs Auburn: 8-4 (66.7%)
Les didn't really seem to struggle against Auburn until his job counted on it.

Vs Ole Miss: 7-4 (63.6%)
Closer than the numbers make it seem.

Vs Mississippi St: 11-1 (91.7%)
Ouch. Dak Prescott saved Mississippi state some (but not much) embarrassment here.

Vs Texas A&M: 5-0 (100%)
The only team in the west never to beat Les. Poor guys.

Now finish it...give his record vs. SEC E.

I'm curious...

There's no way he'll do worse than what the previous setup was doing. LSU hasn't even played the 5 toughest teams on its schedule and is sitting at 2-2.

Hasn't he played Bama 12 times?

Wasn't he 1-1 in SECCG vs. UGA?

blowout in 2005 and RP win in 2011?

Keep in mind he won in last minute versus Ole Miss in 2007, 2010, 2012, and 2014. He very well could have a losing record against the Rebs, even in their worst era between 2005-2011.

Now I wonder why you chose to exclude that 7th loss to Alabama?

Just read your title and the records. Didn't care about the rest of your diatribe. I would leave that game out too since it was really the point where Miles lost his way.

Correct in SEC title game it was 1-1. Overall 3-2 in UGA's favor

05 UGA won SEC title
08 UGA won
09 LSU won
11 LSU won SEC title
13 UGA won

He lost in last second fashion in 2009 and 2013. So I guess we can say he very well could have been 9-2
