the consensus on this website prior to the Alabama game was that LSU had the best offensive line in the country, and then they got manhandled 3 times

Fullback was much more responsible for LSU's success last year than he was given credit for honestly. Once he went down, LSU's offense wasn't anywhere close to the same.

Lots to be excited about. -Steele, + Aranda, several key returning players who would have been drafted, Harris having a full year as a starter under his belt, LF7/Guice, looking likely that Valentine will be playing at NT. Defense should be stopping offenses cold and I expect a shutout or two from them.

Two things I am concerned with are: 1) Maea Teuhema is a beast of a lineman, but I am not sold on his ability to pass protect vs. speed rushers. 2) Tom Ritter in the "I can frick any team I want every week booth."

In my defense, I had no idea LSU was returning 6/7s of their entire team

Got me! I always get he and Tolliver mixed up. Tolliver is who I meant.

Disagree with you on this one. It would be like me saying Minkah Fitzpatrick is not a proven stud. He is. So is Donte.

We've seen this movie before. LSU will "look better than Bama" early and "have more talent than Bama", they'll swear up and down that this is their year and they'll beat Bama. Their RB will run all over our defense and they'll end the dynasty.

What does this mean?

You don't understand people being fans of a team?

What does this statement mean?

How LSU fans are excited about their team instead of being debbie downers about the future. Amazing news, and screw objective, the Tigers are going to win them all.

Is he under any kind of anti-hormone treatment post prostate surgery?

Just wondering, I have a close friend that is going through hell right now. He had his prostate removed in January and it's almost like taking the prostate out disturbed the cancer cells and they spread like wildfire. They've got him on anti-hormone treatments to slow the cancer growth but it takes away all testosterone in the body. Makes him feel like shite for days after taking the treatment and once the prostate is removed sex is no longer possible. It's debilitating for a man in his early 40's.

No, but he made an ignorant and elitist comment.

Next question.

they haven't gotten that specific but my understanding is he was all clear and the surgery was effective. Basically he blew off one exam he shouldn't have but got lucky

We've seen this movie before. LSU will "look better than Bama" early and "have more talent than Bama", they'll swear up and down that this is their year and they'll beat Bama. Their RB will run all over our defense and they'll end the dynasty.

Then comes the game and their RB gets held in check and they lose. Sometimes in a tight game, sometimes by multiple scores. Should be a tight one this year.

Next comes the excuses. I'mm 99% sure they will bitch about refs. The wise among them will once again bow their heads and accept that Saban is the man, others will hold out for a while. Then come Spring ball they'll slowly start falling back into the belief that it'll be their year. Then eventually they HAVE to be right, and they'll think they're smart for "calling it" when they just keep calling it every year.

It's the same every year. I didn't just lay that cycle out to mock LSU, we've all seen it on here and it always goes the same. Maybe they win this year, they have a damn good looking team, but until the clock hits 0 and they're declared the winners it's just the same sad cycle over and over again.

As an LSU fan, I can argue with none of this.

That said, aggie fans should feel the same way toward us.
