After reading that, the only logical conclusion is Tennessee will lose to Bama in the SEC Championship Game next year.

Two things.

1) 10RC is not Alabama.

2) Alabama has a real coach, not a carnival barker.

In 2009 Tennessee went 7-6.

They've sucked arse since then.

In 2007, Bama didn't lose a single game by more than seven points in a brutally tough SEC West. Tennessee lost by 31 points to Ole Miss and 24 points to Oklahoma. Plus the SEC East was garbage last year. A great coach like an Urban or Saban would have won ten games with last year's Tennessee' s squad.

We won't go 10-2 but this team will be much improved.

9-4 is my prediction

As much as I am hyping TN for the 2015 season, the comparison to Alabama is not the brightest mode to make fans feel better about not getting a player drafted. Just not a wise move.

Didn't bama lose to mighty Louisiana- Monroe that year?

I mean, the media was picking Tennessee to go like 4-8 last year, so 10 games would've been a miracle no matter the coach.

Brutally tough, in that there were only 2 teams above .500 in conference play.

Geez, turns out your entire post is a joke.

Urban wouldn't have lost to an 8-5 Oklahoma team or lost to a Mark Richt coached Georgia team and he certainly wouldn't have lost to Florida and Missouri at home. And a better comparison would have been 2014 Tennessee to 2008 Alabama. Saban and Butch were pretty much in the exact same situation. They both had weak first years and then followed it up with a monster recruiting class in his second year. Difference is Saban found a way to win big despite being saddled with Shula's recruits while Butch made excuses.

I meant brutally tough SEC in general. They played four SEC teams that finished in the top 15 plus an Arkansas team loaded with talent. The SEC was much stronger back then that it is now.

The next year, they went 12-2. Just saying folks.

This is just another horribly inaccurate post. It makes me sad just how stupid some ranters are.

I'm pretty sure there isn't a team in America that wouldn't trade their last 7 seasons for Bama's.
